Los Angeles Times L. A. Times Does anyone know the REAl COST OF A 1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE L. A. TIMES? Los Angeles, California
i just renewed my 1 year L. A. Times subscription at $119.60. The invoice they sent me was for $150.50 I phoned them and negotiated it to $130.00, then further negotiated it to $119.60. Does anyone know what their lowest priced 1 year subscription actually is? I feel like i am dealing with a used car salesman since I don't feel comfortable that I am not paying twice the price that my neighbor is paying.

Followup to my previous report. I had reported that the L.A. times billed me for a one year, 7day a week subscrption as follows:
INITIAL BILLING: $150.60 (I phoned to object to the price).
I negotiated to $130.00, then
I negotiated to $119.60, then
Final negotiation which I accepted $103.80
This is like dealing with a snake oil salesman. What is the REAL price?
How many prices does the L. A. Times have?
Is my neighbor paying one-half or less than the price that I finally accepted?
