I ordered ventrilo hosting from maxfrag and for the first month everything was fine then we started getting random disconnects, It turns out they are reseller of darkstarllc which had been having serious issues with power outages etc but instead of telling customers that they simply kept closing my tickets.
At one point when I asked for a refund they said "We don't give refunds". After pressing the issue I was told to cancel and go somewhere else. Apparently they don't want to be bothered dealing with support or customer questions which is fine since I signed up with another hoster who's 100% better. The worse part is I had 8 months left on a 1 year contract which they pocketed. Buyer beware Maxfrag is nothing but scammers, They will gladly take your money but when you have a simple problem they ignore you and tell you to cancel so they can keep your money. Stay away from Maxfrag!
