Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I leased to Maximum Trucking LLC as an Owner Operator. They offered me a 30/70 split and the advertisement said "We pay our Owner Operators weekly and I never got paid. The average weekly pay is now between $3,200 to $4,500 after fuel expense for regional." (THAT WAS A JOKE... I Made $800 the first week they had me sitting days with no loads) I had to find my own loads and call them to get it done and then they will get their 30 percent? The company and the management is very bad. Rick is always on vacation and there's nobody ever at the office. They never answer the phone, the dispatch it's not well managed, AND they don't have any office hours. Their loads are poorly distributed and also they don't have a brokers authority all their loads come from the load board and they're cheap. I had a horrible experience working for this company. I gave up working with these people it's a RIP OFF and now Rick refuses to pay for my loads and he hides from any encounters. I have made several trips to the office which is an hour away from my house to try and contact him. The last email he sent me stated he wasn't paying me and that I OWED him money! Don't waste your time... He also threatened me by saying, "I Know a lot of people in this business and can make sure you never work in this industry again. I know every trucking company in Houston and the surrounding areas and can let them know what you said and e-mail you blackmail E-mail to my friends on the Houston Police Force and well as Harris County Sheriff Department." My email was only asking for the money he owed me and he refuses to pay me for the 3 weeks I worked for him. I would like the owner of the company to contact me and let me know why they won't pay me for the 5 loads they owe me that totals out to over $1,900.

Apology from Rick Daniel To Corinne Bovio

#2UPDATE Employee

Tue, December 08, 2009

I, Rick Daniel, want to extend a sincere apology to Corinne Bovio in reference to the comments written by the Owner of Maximum Trucking.  The statements that were written were mis-informed and inflammatory at best.  Corinne Bovio was an excellent Employee who excelled in whatever she was task to perform and was instrumental in developing a wide range of policies that Maximum Trucking utilizes today.

To clarify, Corinne never worked at an illegal gambling facility, but she did, however, work next door to one and would exclaim how she wished the authorities would do away with these types of facilities.  Being that she is a law abiding individual, she would and has been extremely trustworthy in every endeavor.

I personally enjoyed working with Corinne Bovio and would welcome the opportunity to work with her in any capacity in the future.  I wish her well for her future and would expect Corinne to key part of the success of any company that may employ her just as she was instrumental in the growth of Maximum Trucking.

Corinne Bovio, Thanks for all you've done.

Sincerely,

Rick Daniel

Senior Operations Manager

Maximum Trucking Apolpgizes to Corinne Bovino she would not say untrue things about Maximum Trucking LLC. There is a trucker #45 who is the liar

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sat, November 21, 2009

I must apologize to Corinne Bovino. I see I read the report wrong. In my rebuttal I commented that Corinne was the lying trucker. Who was pretending to be the trucker #45. It was not Corinne Bovine who tried to disrespect Maximum Trucking LLC. It is the same one an only trucker who is attempting to get under everyone skin and keep the lie he is perpetuating so everyone would believe it and cause them to second think the Maximum Trucking business.  By upsetting the balance of a good company. It would have been surprising that Corinne could or would have tried to do such a thing or say anything negative. We had wanted her to exceed, because she was loyal. I should have known it was truly a trucker #45 who had even disrespected Corinne by including her in a report he was using to disrespecting Maximum Trucking and Rick Daniel. The fact this trucker would lie and cheat to cause an air of accusations to fly around, lets me know this person would not be a good employee to work for Maximum Trucking. Maximum Trucking LLC wants only hard working, trustworthy, smart, honest, self-motivated, positive, supportive, hard working, emotionally stable people.

Each time I have had to comment on this posting or any blog about a statement that trucker #45 makes. It makes me encouraged that we only hire the best to work for Maximum Trucking. Thank God we never had a trucker #45 working for our equal opportunity company.  But we did have a Corinne Bovino.

Maximum Trucking LLC is a ver Good Company and Disappointed in Corinne Bovino

#4REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sat, November 21, 2009

I am the CEO of Maximum Trucking. I am the one who rehired Corinne Bovino. I know she first was working for an illegal gambling establishment. My operations manager wanted to help her. We were a new company and Corinne Bovino was hired as a dispatcher. She was not a trucker and is not a trucker. I noticed she is disrespecting truckers as she says she was trucker#45. She hated working as dispatcher and she hated working with truckers. She hated dealing with them when they came in the office or when she was to talk with them. The problems of her poor dispatching skills cost us money and she would come daily not dispatching. Our office manager hated her not having a good pay check. So she would give Corinne Bovino salary she did not deserve. She was always paid extra money. When we rehired Corinne to be an assistant to the manager. This to help train the new dispatchers she seem to like this position. She wasn't good at stepping in for the dispatchers or dispatching, but she liked being over someone. When the dispatchers were ill  Corinne would make no money. Instead Corinne cost us money by over booking with her poor dispatching skill. She worked for the company from costing money. When the offices were moved she was alerted she would have a hour drive. She still wanted to work for her set salary of $400 a week. She stopped being productive and would come to work and would not work, and not attempt to file, and of course not dispatching, which we desperately needed. Rick was her boss. But she would leave when Rick would leave. We could not pay Corinne for not working.  We made that mistake before.  Corinne Bovino knows she was lying about money we owe her. She owes Maximum Trucking LLC for all that pay she got, but didn't work for it.

Can't Please Everyone

#5REBUTTAL Individual responds

Fri, November 20, 2009

The individual writing about Maximum Trucking is correct in stating that they did not receive payment.  There are reasons for every event that occurs in any business situation.  To begin, Maximum Trucking has a policy that clearly states and is signed by Owner Operators that they must comply with in-order to receive payment on loads they may carry.  First, you must sign a Lease Document that defines your position and pay agreement.  Second, if leased and you are assigned a load, at the point the load is complete, you must turn in the Bill of Lading in order to receive payment.  We, as a company, must turn in the Bill of Lading to the Broker in order to receive payment.  This person who has written this report against Maximum Trucking has failed to do both.  We do not have any documentation for even a payment agreement.  And though somehow, through a break-down that we have since corrected, he was able to take loads for Maximum Trucking, we have repeatedly ask for the Bill of Lading from this person and he refuses to supply us with these documents. Therefor, we cannot pay him monies we have not received do to his inability to turn over these documents.

Now, to address the allegation that we are going bankrupt, we have not paid our staff, we owe a Factoring Company or that we don't have any office hours.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Maximum Trucking is well managed by a staff of Accountants, Master Brokers and Former Truckers.

When Maximum Trucking first opened its doors they used Brokers off the internet 100% of the time.  We've always known that this was not a practice we could do for any real length of time. This practice was not a secret to any Owner Operators we had a relationship with nor is it uncommon within the Transportation Industry.  We have now acquired our own customers which translates to higher transportation volume and higher paying Freight but we still use Brokers from time-to-time for the purpose of backhaul from various locations in the U.S. that are rural.

The bottom line is that companies will inevitably have missteps during the first year of existence and will not be able to please everyone in all situations.  But, as companies learn and continue to grow, they will not be judged solely on what they have done good or bad but how they react, learn and grow from pitfalls and fortune along the way. Maximum Trucking is a solid company with good assets, great credit and most importantly sound integrity.

We regret that one person was not happy with their experience with Maximum Trucking and for that and to him we do apologize.  However, we do have a great reputation througout the Transportation Industry and in on-going relationships with numerous Owner Operators, Customers and Staff Members.

Maximum Trucking DO NOT LEASE TO THEM

#6Author of original report

Fri, November 20, 2009

Hi, It's your decision whether to lease to him or not, but just for you know,I worked for him for 3 weeks and didn't pay anything, and I know several people he owes money, Including dispatchers, factoring companies, drivers. His business is going bankruptcy soon, but if you want to be another victim of this guy and don't get paid go head and lease to him.
I will be very careful! Because I'm not the only one who has been scammed by him.

#7General Comment

Fri, November 20, 2009

I've found this company on craigslist today there ad was very impressive I must say so I called them because I need better loads(long story short)so I spoke with rick the gentleman in the report he said that they have plenty of work and he seems to be ok but this report is making me nerveous .I sent him my paper work anyway and we'll see what happens next .I'll have up my guards all the way. But the bottom line is that all companies are full of s!%# in some shape or form. They say they do this and that ,no or little deadhead you get there and you are deading hundreds of miles a week, they tell you that there is plenty of work you are sitting at a truck stop for 2 days or force to deadhead home or take a load that pays .99 per mile .Its all bullshit these dispatchers/brookers are something else I cant just understand them we have a business to run just like they do. don't steal and lie to me just be honest and hopefully every thing will be allright
