Bad Housekeeping Fayetteville, Arkansas U.S.A. 'Sounds like Andromeda needs to beam back up to her space-ship and return to her home planet.' Perhaps. 'What I said has PLENTY of relevance to the issue of the fast food industry in general and it's staff screwing up orders. IT'S FAST FOOD! The people who work there are usually ex-cons or teenagers, they don't want to be there and if you knew anything about what really goes on at those establishments, you don't wanna EAT there either. They're not all that different from Denny's, again, no one goes there for the quality or the dining experience, they go because it's what's convenient: If they DID go for the prior described reasons these places would have a wine list and a dress code.' This is a another bunch of irrelevant 'hot air'. Your so called 'general' case doesn't have anything to do with this SPECIFIC McDonald's. 1. Explain how you know this particular McDonald's has a staff composed of ex-cons and/or teenagers. 2. Explain how you know that the employees at this particular McDonald's don't want to be there. 3. Explain how you know what 'really goes on' at this particular McDonald's. 4. Explain how you know where I don't WANNA eat? You misspelled 'want to'. 5. What in the world caused Denny's to pop into your head? We are talking about this McDonald's! 6. Explain how you know why everyone goes to fast food places. 7. What prior described reasons? What does 'wine list' and 'dress code' have to do with this particular McDonald's? 'Jim did make a very helpful suggestion to actually go inside and place an order, but even then he said 'stay away from fast food' I am glad you have Jim to hold your hand. 'So go stuff another chemical-injected-genetically-modified-cow-wading-in-it's-own-feces-at-a-factory-burger down your gullet if that's what makes you fat and happy, just keep in mind that similar to smoking, that kind of living DOES have consequences and that if you make certain choices knowing the risks don't bicker about the end result.' Totally and completely useless and irrelevant to anything in this thread! Shows your real IQ. Insulting to Author! Get your head out of the toilet! At the very minimum, you could have at least suggested checking the food before leaving the establishment, whether at the drive-through or inside. Unless you can explain points 1 through 7 above, nothing in your posts is relevant to this particular McDonald's. Congratulations 'Bad Housekeeping'. Jim kicked your butt!

Since Andromeda won't even offer a solution to you, let me see if I can help: 1. First, if you're going to place a special order, regardless of the request, it would serve you well to go inside the establishment. The reason for this is that your request is generally not heard well through a loudspeaker and your request will probably be missed. I understand this may be an inconvenience to you, however your ability to receive an accurate order is much more likely to occur when you're seen face-to-face. 2. Next, if you're inside, you can see how the clerk typed in your order. If the order is typed correctly, chances are the order will come out correctly. You cannot generally see what is typed on a special order. In addition, if they type the order incorrectly, you can intercede BEFORE they screw up. I don't think that complaining to McDonalds corporate would be of any use, given that most McDonalds are franchise owned and the corporation merely receives a percentage of the revenue as a franchise fee. They only care about the fee they receive. Your best bet would be to find out who the franchise owner is and contact them directly to complain, especially the part of the manager not caring. Best of luck. Stay away from fast food......

Bad Housekeeping Fayetteville, Arkansas U.S.A. 'Then stop eating fast food' That is a stupid statement! The Author is talking about a problem with ONE McDonald's. Irrelevant. Nothing here about the McDonald's problem! 'I understand being lactose intolerant, but if you're so health-conscious why are you eating so much fast food?' Irrelevant. Nothing here about the McDonald's problem! None of your Business. Tell us Dr. 'Bad Housekeeping' Where and when you got your MD degree and what your specialty is. 'No one goes to McDonald's or ANY fast food establishment for quality, the go because it's cheap and it's there.' Irrelevant. Nothing here about the McDonald's problem! Bad Housekeeping. What were YOU thinking?

USE to go to mcdonald's a couple times a year. It's interesting how some were run very well and others weren't run worth a d**n. I guess it has to do with management. Now I go to what-a-burger every now and then. There are two appox. six miles apert. One is on the ball and in very good shape, the other isn't worth spit.
