MeasureUp Very Deceptive Refund Policy And Very Poor Product Quality Internet
After struggling to even understand how to properly navigate their online portal, I finally gained access to a MeasureUp IT certification practice test. I was very unenthused with the quality; It was loaded with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. I decided that this practice exam was really going to do more harm than good so I decided to seek a refund.
Lo and behold I guess I bought the download version of the test? It was this buggy collection of PHP files that sort of works on your desktop and sort of lets you work on a practice test semi-offline. It also comes with an online version of their test and their refund policy states:
"Refunds can be made for online practice tests only. If the practice test purchased was discounted or part of a bundle or combination of products, the refund will be prorated to reflect the actual purchase price of the practice test."
Ok, so they won't refund me the download version, cool. I agree with that. HERE'S THE THING: Online version price, $99. Online plus download, $119. So per the refund policy, If I want a refund I should be entitled to $99!! But no, the obvious non-english speaking customer service person says this is not their policy and refused me any right to a refund.
This is a very crappy, fly by night, 4 hour workweek set it and forget it type operation. They have poor customer service and extremely poor product quality. Plus a completely deceptive refund policy. Avoid.

Firstly, the refund policy is very clear on their website. You need to fail twice to get that refund. I read it before purchasing my test, so the company is not deceptive at all.
Secondly, you have demos available that you can use before you buy the tests.
Finally, I can't see how the location of the support team is relevant. This report does not add up at all.
MeasureUp gave me a full refund.

After I sent this article to MeasureUp they gave me a full refund! So they aren't so bad. Moreover I learned Ripoff Report rules... Thanks RR!!
