Merchandise Direct Ripoff Company Wallingford Connecticut
I ordered 2 Buston Bags and handheld recorders from Merchandise Direct - advertised on TV. I had the opportunity to try someone's bag before mine were delivered and I was unhappy with it.
When my bags arrived I called the company and without opening the packages, was told where to return the items.
I was supposed to receive $66.70 back into my bank account. When I looked today, I receive $34.90!
When I returned the items I sent them by Return Receipt Requested from the post office so the company couldn't claim that I didn't return them (as I read that had happened to some people). Instead it looks like they cheated me anyway by signing the Return Receipt but reimbursing me for only 1 purse.
I will not give up. this company has cheated enough people from the looks of the other reports. I returned 2 bags and 2 recorders and I want my full amount back!
Someone out there needs to help the consumer!
