Metropolitan Home Loans did not force flood insurance. The loan was sold and the new lender required the insurance. Not Metropolitan. If a refund check was sent, Metropolitan never received it and would never keep it. Metropolitan Home Loans has a long standing reputation of honesty and fairness. This is a simple misunderstanding.
