Michael J Ferra of Chino Hills is incapable of following SIMPLE instructions.  We were called to install a new spa pump/motor on their hot tub.  Michael J Ferra attempted to install his own and burnt up the pump motor by incorrectly wiring it, in addition he didn't purchase the correct 2 speed pump and attempted to install a single speed, which didn't work out.  He called us, we quoted him, he approved. We installed the new pump and filled it up.  The technician noticed the spa leaking at the skimmer dripping onto the controls and pump.  Mike told the technician he was aware of it and would fix it himself.  Mike was told SPECIFICALLY "DO NOT RUN OR TURN ON THE PUMP UNTIL 3 things occur #1 Leak is repaired, #2 A GFI is installed, #3 a new topside control is installed."  We even emailed the imbecile the following:

After our technician installed the pump. He told your husband Mike,

do not run the pump until

#1 you replace the defective topside, #2 you repair the

plumbing leaks, #3 Install a GFI.

The very next day,Saturday july 25th,2015 you called and said

the cleaning cycle on spa runs continually and wont shut off ??

We then told Mike verbally, AGAIN, do not run pump until after above repairs

are completed. Mike responded with, Oh yeah

!

3 times we told Mike not to run the pump.

Because of you and Mike's rudeness and

demanding nature,even though we told you it was a manufacturer warranty,and the spa

was run after we told Mike not to run the spa,we will

not

be coming back and refuse to do any further repairs for you. Out of courtesy

we contacted Eddie at Waterway. He says he never spoke to either of you,and he

is technical support for Waterway ?? He did

say though, that you are welcome to

call him at 805-981-0262 and he will try and

troubleshoot the problem over the phone.to determine if its a warranty issue, but he

has doubts regarding the status of it being under warranty

There will be no further communication,regarding this

issue.

 

The following Saturday, just a few days after the new 2 speed pump was installed they called about the spa running constantly, which was in the aforementioned "TOPSIDE" which was told was a hazard and not working.  We asked did you repair the leak, install a new topside, and install a GFI?  NOPE!  The idiot doesn't follow simple instructions orally or in writing.    Fast foward a few weeks later now they claim the spa is leaking.. ummm, HELLO!!!  We already told you this, we told you DO NOT RUN THE SPA UNTIL THE FOLLOWING 3 ARE COMPLETED!!!!! "#1 Leak is repaired, #2 A GFI is installed, #3 a new topside control is installed." 

Months later the motor fails, the motor we TOLD THEM NOT TO RUN UNTIL "#1 Leak is repaired, #2 A GFI is installed, #3 a new topside control is installed." 

 

We forwarded them the manufacturers phone number, even though it's not a manufacturer related issue but they didn't believe us.

Months later it's somehow our fault that NIMROD didn't comprehend the SIMPLE instructions orally or through email "#1 Leak is repaired, #2 A GFI is installed, #3 a new topside control is installed." "

 

TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY!!!!  It's NOT OUR FAULT YOU ARE STUPID AND INCAPABLE OF LISTENING TO SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS/.  This mental midget had the audacity to not only ask for his money back but file a complaint with the BBB and the license board.  We will take ZERO responsibiltiy for YOUR stupidity, moron
