I am having the same issue and have taken the resident agent, Paul Daily Jr, to small claims court. Not court date as of yet but just filed two weeks ago. The information I got off of the Maryland Taxation and Assesment Web Site for Power TrainProducts is listed below. Principal Office (Current): 602 - 219TH ST. PASADENA, MD 21122 Resident Agent (Current): EDMUND P. SYMONDS, II 602 - 219TH ST. PASADENA, MD 21122 Status: INCORPORATED Good Standing: Yes Business Code: Ordinary Business - Stock Date of Formation or Registration: 12/05/2007 State of Formation: MD Stock/Nonstock: Stock Close/Not Close: Close Hope this helps anyone that needs more information about Powertrian but if you are going to sue someone you need to sue the following. My lawyer seems to think he may still be liable or that he will show the new company assumed liablity, not that they would tell you that on the phone. Taxpayer Services Division Entity Name: MID-ATLANTIC ENGINES, INC. Dept ID #: D03420064 Principal Office (Current): 209 ALICE WAY LOTHIAN, MD 20711 Resident Agent (Current): PAUL STEPHEN DALEY, JR. 209 ALICE WAY LOTHIAN WAY, MD 20711 Status: DISSOLVED Good Standing: No Business Code: Ordinary Business - Stock Date of Formation or Registration: 04/24/1992 State of Formation: MD Stock/Nonstock: Stock Close/Not Close: Not Close

We believe the company is still owned by Paul Daley of Lothian, MD. He was the owner of Midatlantic Engines and on January 1 2008 changed the company name to Powertrain Products. He did this to try to avoid covering the product he sold which came with a 3 year warranty. The business is still at the same address, and has the same phone #. We believe that currently the company is still owned by Paul Daley and still operates using the same bank account and tax id # as Midatlantic. There should be some recourse if you personally sue Paul Daley or file suit against the "new owner" Eddie Symonds of Pasadena, MD, who has worked for Paul for many years. Somehow these two are working together to get rich by scamming the consumer.

I have the same problem. I got a default judgment against them and now they claim that they are out of business. Could you tell me the name, docket number, and court for the case you filed? I think there may still be some recourse.
