We had the exact same situation as report number 1215851. We heard on the radio of a talent modeling company coming to Orlando Florida airport hotel called went on Saturday was asked not to record anything or take pictures basically in a threatening manner if we did we would be thrown out were the words used by the speaker which stated to be of French origin . We where we called because they said our daughter was chosen to be there Sunday (the next day) to sign a contract and guaranteed verbally that she would be working by that Friday doing Disney and Nickelodeon commercials . We were taken to a room and told to give our bank information but that it would not be used until she had started working . The bottom line is they took three $1000 withdrawal from our bank. I daughter was never called or pointed to model anywhere ! I am disabled and I fixed income and was sick to my stomach , this all Oakwood March this year 2015 , nine months ago , I truly hope you read this before you even think about signing up with these people . They should all be imprisoned .

First off, don't play the "disabled card" around here to gain sympathy. Being disabled has NOTHING to do with this, period!
If you would have done your homework in advance, you would have seen the NUMEROUS references to this type of scam. However, beyond that, some VERY OBVIOUS clues were looking directly at you, yet you failed to act. If this was a legitimate operation, why would they be threatening you if you took pictures? How did they suddenly come to select your daughter with no experience, no track record and no training? If they were offering this job, why would you need to be PAYING THEM?
Did they rip you off? Of course they did and you played perfectly into their hands which they had you eating out of!
RIPOFF HERE -- Complainer failed to perform due diligence and ignored very obvious signs thus enabling the ripoff.
