I ordered 2 products from Monster Hair on 2-3-08. Nexxus hairspray and Paul Mitchell serum. The internet based company stated that I would receive 7 free samples with my order. An added bonus for me. I quickly received an email confirmation from a billing company "Bella Direct" which later was listed on my credit card statement as Belle Direct. I also noticed the billing company email was actually from a person BobLederer.

I received a box on 2-7-08, it contained the Nexxus hairspray but only a trial/travel size of Paul Mitchell serum (.85 oz) and no free samples. The packing slip showed the full size Paul Mitchell serum (5.1 oz.) had been shipped, which was incorrect. The next day I sent an email to Monsterhair.com stating I did not receive the product I ordered Paul Mitchell serum, full size, 5.1 oz. but did receive a trial size.

It took 11 days to receive a response to my problem. I tried to find a phone number to call Monster Hair but the web site said no phone calls, internet only, email only. So I waited. On 2-18-08 I received a response from Monster hair by email which stated, I quote, "I did some checking were waiting for the larger size to come in. This should be in in the next few days. I will make shore we ship product out then. Please keep travel size on us. We just started to offer PM and this was out bad. All the best Alex Co Owner MHA."

I waited 15 more days with no response or product. On 3-4-08 I sent another email requesting my product that I paid for, again, but this time stated that if it was not immediately shipped I was requesting a refund for $15.79. I then stated that I also never received the 7 free samples that I was promised and was very dissappointed with Monster Hair. I have now been waiting for over 1 month to receive the product I have paid for.

On 3-4-08 I received a response by email from monster hair. I quote, "I show we dilivered your order in full. Monster hair in no way promises sample if you read the top of the sample page it says. If you order from Monster hair for the free samples please don't."

I then started researching this company. Monster hair's address is 2323 W. Main Houston, TX and phone number 713-893-3495. The billing company they use is Bella Direct. Bella Direct has no know web site or address, only an individual through yahoo named Bob Lederer. My bank obtained a phone number for Bella Direct of 281-486-7774.

I send another email to Monsterhair on 3-17-08, attaching all previous email coorespondence, (just in case they had forgotten what they had previously stated). I again demanded my product or refund. No response followed.

I then left phone messages at Monster hair on 3-20-08 and 4-1-08 requesting a return call. I also stated that if they did not call me back I would dispute the charge from my credit card company. No response, again.

I also left phone messages at Bella Direct on 3-20-08 and 4-1-08 requesting a return call because of problem with my order with Monster hair they had handled. They would not return my call. My bank also stated they left them messages and received no return call.

I disputed the charge of $15.79 on 4-3-08 and was refunded this amount.

I believe they purposely sent the wrong size with an inaccurate packing slip to rip off the consumer. Then when I called it to their attention they stalled, as they have a no refund policy after 7 days. When they seen I had kept all emails and didn't let it go, they just ignored me.

I am also very uncomfortable with the billing company they use, Bella Direct. My bank Double Eleven Credit Union could not find any web address or physical address for this company. Only a phone number that has an answering machine that has a generic introduction. And, they will not return your calls. Very shady, in my opinion. I wish they did not have my financial information.

If you are thinking of ordering from Monster hair, I would not recommend it. If you have a problem with a previous order with Monster hair I hope some of the information I have provided helps you resolve the problem.

We welcome our customers feed back.
We have done everything in our power to help  Ms Franklin with her order.

Monsterhair is not a sample company we just don't send 7 samples out per order. We do offer samples and have a very clear policy right below which is not in small print.. Her order was dleivered to her.

Monsterhair refunded the order in full to her credit card.

Monsterhair offers email support and live chat. We do not offer phone support at this time which is stated on the site.
