Internet FRAUD. MRA Video "Girls Gone Wild" videotape. A scam.FOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. Thousands of consumers called it a rip-off on ripoffreport. After our story aired an attorney sued calling it deceptive advertising. Video part 1 Video part 2
I ordered the "Girls Gone Wild" videotape through the phone number advertised on a television commercial. I received it in good time. Four days ago, however, on September 4, 2001, I received a second video that I had not requested. I was *not* notified that I would receive it, and much less notified I would be charged $24.00 for it! This is a vile scam. Report this swindling company to the Federal Trade Commission (http://www.ftc.gov) and the USPS Inspection Service (http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors). Mail a letter to MRA Video, also. I would tell you to call them, but I hear they like to switch their phone numbers.
I know many others who have been victims of this scam. File your report today.
