Gee, Lisa, How in the world do you expect this site to "vet" every poster? How do you suggest we all be "screened for authenticity"? Should we all send in DNA samples, a fingerprint sheet, and maybe an iris scan so that it can be proven that we are who we say we are? That still does not get around the fact that people lie. People lie all the time, night and day, in court and under oath. Humans are liars and even a polygraph is not 100% proof against lies. Some folks can beat them. Perhaps we should just mail our brains to RipOffReport.com so that they can be subjected to a battery of tests and a dose of sodium pentathol for good measure before being allowed to post? Or maybe there should just be a trial held for each poster and if anyone is found to be lying by a jury of their peers, they should be summarily executed? How absurd, Lisa! Did you fill out a login form for your rebuttal? Did you tell the truth on it? If so, that is all you need to worry about. Mike's report seems pretty genuine to me. He has me convinced that your company sent him a pallet of broken crap at some point in the past. Or you might have had a "bad apple" shipper who might have helped himself to some TVs and generally mistreated the rest of the merchandise, leaving Mike holding the bag and very upset. Mike does not say this just happened yesterday so maybe he just found this site and decided to weigh in with his tale from last year. And he seems genuinely distressed that he lost customers and maybe a couple of friends over the deal. So, Lisa, your time might be better spent trying to make it right, rather than demanding screening processes that are impossible. As long as there is am Internet there is going to be chattering on it. Many identities will be unknown to you or the site operator. Learn to handle things with a bit more grace and you will leave a better impression on others than this poor job you did here. You offered nothing of value in this rebuttal; in fact, you did not even bother to deny Mike's claim. RipOffReport.com is not a judicial organization and is not empowered in any state to be making judicial decisions and asking for proof of identities. It seems as though you would like to see that be so and that would be pretty UNConstitutional and probably illegal, to boot. It is a Brave New World, Lisa; better get used to it.

I guess if we sold single pallets of electronics I would worry but since we don't and haven't for over a year it just leaves one to wonder how much our competitors really fear us. ROAR>>>>You should be AFRAID! And to the ripoff report crew, thumbs up for doing such a good job screening people. It really makes your board so much more credible. :)
