EDITOR’S COMMENT:  Ripoff Report strongly believes in the First Amendment, especially when consumers are truthfully warning other consumers about potential frauds, scams, rip-offs or the like by shady individuals or businesses.  Ripoff Report is by consumers, for consumers…and we want to keep it that way!  Unfortunately this Report was posted and, upon additional information, appears to have been primarily for the purpose of bullying or harassment.  In many instances Ripoff Report will reach out to the author of the Report to obtain further information.  In other instances, enough information is provided to Ripoff Report to warrant redactions without reaching out to the author.  Ripoff Report is working to combat tactics that are perceived to be cyberharassment, cyberstalking, cyberbullying and/or what is generally considered a “revenge post” as we do not condone such behavior.

The Report was brought to our attention and, upon review of compiled information (which will be done on a case by case basis without any obligation as resources allow), and at Ripoff Report’s sole discretion, information that did not conform to current policies and/or the identifying information relating to the individual(s) and/or business(es) named in this “Report” and any subsequent comments thereto have been editorially redacted as indicated by the following “(((REDACTED)))” or (((REDACTED DUE TO PERCEIVED HARASSMENT / REVENGE POST)))”.

CONSUMERS:  Be kind.  Keep it honest.  Keep it fair.  Stick to the facts.  Do your research.  Keep the dirty laundry in the laundry hamper…not on Ripoff Report.

PLEASED TO SEE SUCH EFFORTS?  YOU CAN HELP RIPOFF REPORT COMBAT THESE TYPES OF ISSUES:  Ripoff Report, as resources allow, is working towards combatting Cyberharassment, Cyberstalking, Cyberbullying and/or other problems such as what is generically called “revenge posts” that can be riddled with personal commentary and/or allegations that can be serious.   Ripoff Report would love to be able to timely address each and every review request we receive, however, this takes resources.  If you think this is a worth-while endeavor, we encourage you to make a donation so that we can expand the resources that we can devote to this project.  You can make a non-tax deductible donation by clicking HERE NOW or learn a little more by visiting our “Donate to our Efforts” page.  The more resources we have, the more resources we can devote to this project and other forward thinking and positive initiatives like it.

Thank you!

----------------------

Long story short, I ended up firing (((REDACTED))) three weeks before our wedding. I know what you're thinking (crazy bride, right?) - wrong! I literally felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders after we terminated our contract.  I should have gone with my gut feeling from the beginning when she sent us our e-contract and it had another clients name as the bride & groom, but I let it go...

(((REDACTED))) started off as very a professional planner and seemed to understand our vision. But as time got closer, I began to notice a dramatic difference in her work. She started missing phone conferences; she also missed our venue walk-thru (and never called, emailed or texted us letting us know she would not be able to attend). Prior to signing the contract it took less than 24 hours for her to respond back to e-mails. After signing the contract, we were looking at a 48-72 hour turn around (and occasionally a week would go by prior to her responding).

(((REDACTED)))was not communicating with any of the vendors that we booked. For example, we booked her at the beginning of April and she still had not reached out to our venue as of July 1st (keep in mind our wedding took place on July 25th). All of our vendors were still contacting me inquiring about wedding details, timelines, etc. She was telling me that she had been in contact with the vendors, however none of them had heard from her. She was very slow on providing us with vendor recommendations and the recommendations that were provided were far out of our budget! Every time I asked for recommendations for more reasonable vendors it would either take a very long time to get back with us, or the recommendation was never provided. I think I could have looked past the missed calls and appointments had she been a bit more professional after I emailed her regarding our concerns.

Instead of apologizing and taking a little fault for her actions (((REDACTED))) insisted that she was going above and beyond her duties and pretty much made it seem as though she had done nothing wrong. Still to this day she has not apologized. It frustrates me because we did pay her (1 out of 3 installments) and unfortunately that money will not be refunded.

I was a very easygoing bride and the worst feeling is having someone take advantage of you. Weddings are not cheap!

Any who, I say this in the nicest way possible - think twice (maybe even three times) before hiring (((REDACTED)))! I gave her 1 star because the one good thing that came out of hiring her was her suggestion to use Uber for our transportation and that was a hit!
