I'm not trying to be rude, by any means, just trying to sort this out...
If National Lending had advised you to pay your mortgage late, for any reason at all, why did you not immediately contact the company your mortgage is through? Or did you and it just didn't make it in the original post?
Call the company to where you make your mortgage payment and tell them a)payments will be late until loan closes and b)National Lenders claims they will reimburse us for the late fees. If that sounded out of the ordinary or unacceptable to them in any way, they could have gotten a hold of NL and had a conversation, RECORDED, with them about it. Get the "information" and tell them what to do with it if it was bad. They would get a hold of you directly and saved you from this mess; they want their money, too.
Also, what about the report you were going to make to the BBB? There is only one claim against them in Kentucky, and 28 reviews, none of which are your's. Just curious where that went if you were so earnest about it all...
Not saying anything bad or good about either parties, but something seems strange here
