North Atlantic Research Group Bryan Mason Sends a $1,578.41 check instructing you to deposit in your bank to do 3 marketing surveys. Toronto , Ontario Canada
Letter and check received for $1,578.41. Letter indicates this is money for you to deposit in your bank account. You have 48 hours to evaluate service at a group of companites that includes walmart, jcpennt, sears, moneygram, macy's, walgreens.
You are to use part of the money to buy products from 3 of these companies. You then fill out a 5 question survey on the service you received. You fax it in to the listed number and the goods you buy as well as the remainder of the $1,578.41 is yours to keep.
Letter says due to confidentiallity agreement you cannot tell your bank about the check.
I called the person listed as Bryan Mason at 1-416-558-2437. Questioned why as a research company I could not locate them on the web? Was asked if I had deposited check. Answer NO I would not deposit until I knew more. Did not want to allow any bank routing information to get into his hands. Bryan Mason said he did not need my banking info. I responded you will have it once you get the deposit notification of the check you sent out. Bryan Mason hung up. Tried calling right back. He would not answer the phone a second time.
This is a scam to get access into your banking account.
