Complaint Review: Northern Lakes Building Services L.L.C. - Duluth Minnesota

I am an x-employee of the company Northern Lakes Building Services and worked the Bemidji State Universityjob also.

Needless to say this job turned into a mess. I even wrote a Rip-off-Report myself after being upset about the way things went there. But this was reallynot Bill's fault.. From employees not showing up to work to meet deadlines, and then quitting and ripping off his equipment, it made it impossible for him to meet the deadline with quality work.

I also worked three other jobs for Bill Temme and Nothern Lakes Building Services before I left the company. Every otherjob I worked was completed with a high level of quality, to repeat customers.

Honestly, a big part of the reason I'm not with them anymore is that my work was not up to par with the company.

They are quality contractors.

Wheather or not Bill was screwd by some other company is his issue. A few of the people that worked the job got paid, others have not. The no-pay issue is only one many. I worked there and have not been paid.

As for Bills workmanship, he actually told us to cheat on our work and not complete a 5000$ step properly claiming that "they wont be able to tell if we did it or not".

I could go on and on about how horrible this guy is sure.. and he could ask his employee's to write rebuttals all day.. BUT if someone is considering hiring Bill Temme and his Company Northern Lakes Building Services.. dont take it from me. Call Bemidji State University, ask for the Maintenance leader also named Bill. Just ask him for a reference on bill temme and his company and see what he says.

I have met many scum in my life, No One compares to this dude Bill Temme

I work for this company for over a year now, I have always been paid on time but the past month it has been late by a week at most, from my known knowledge that this company named Advanced Enterprises had sub contracted men from Northern Lakes in different states for the past 3 months has not paid Northern Lakes any of the over $38,000 its owes them, so virtually all this company's work load has been covered by Northern Lakes and I mean all payroll!!! to have someone elses buildings cleaned this I know for a fact because I was one of them that worked on the road, with no pay from Advanced Enterprises, Northern Lakes has struggled to pay everyone for the past month or more because of this, all employees that worked for advanced enterprises have been paid from Northern Lakes with no monies todate from this other company. So I'm just here to set the story straight!!! and to add about the job in Bemidji I also worked there, and the couple guys that reported not getting paid did get paid after ther true hours were talleyed up, they ended up on a 4 day party and tried claimming those days as worked days, I also know that they lied about work completed which resulted in contract termination. Northern Lakes has never lost an account and this one was a mess, and Northern Lakes lost over $8500.00 and did not recieve payment for this job for over 60 days, when they recieved payment those men did to, I know this cause I was shown there checks for proof... I recieved my check for that job on time but I did not lie about my hours or cost company thousands of dollars, I have no connections to this company but these guys that reported this are the reason the company was having issues, check thier credit score, its perfect!!!
