To Whom It May Concern:

I looked up this site after talking with my credit card company about getting a refund from www.Southwest&more.com. I am in the process of trying to get a refund from this company and I have contacted the Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida Attorney Generals office about this matter. I ordered a piece of furniture on November 11th 2003 with the promise that it would be here in 4 to 6 weeks. It did not arrive until 16 weeks later and it was the wrong piece of furniture. I refused the furniture and was promised that I would be getting the correct piece in May. I really wanted the furniture so I waited until mid May before I demanded a refund. I was promised that I would get one in 5 business days it is now going on 10.

I was glad to see that someone else was able to fight back and get the money back hopefully I will have the same luck. I would like to thank Darlene from Texas for laying the ground work. I also would like to thank rip-off- report for this web site. I will always go to your site before I buy anything online again.

Thanks

George

Dear Customers, A refund had already been issued to this case earlier this year. We have been in the rustic furniture business since 2001. Since our beginning until late 2003, we managed to keep an impeccable customer service records (please check with BBB). In late 2003 we experienced a well documented problem with two of our biggest furniture containers coming from Mexico which affected approximately half of the order received from Nov, 2003 to June, 2004 (this because of the domino effect generated by the large volume of cancellations). Our company suffered a big loss which we are still managing to recover from. However, we are still working hard on resolving all pending cases by either issuing a refund or shipping the furniture from alternate US vendors. No customers will be left unresolved. As of July 1st 2004, the company successfully resumed its operations, delivering all orders received since July 1st. All income is being currently focused towards leveling the company financial situation and resolving all pending cases. Measures have been taken to avoid this from ever happening again in the future.
