Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
The so-called advocates at Orange County Safe Homes Project, which is a shelter for abused women is located at 17 ORCHARD STREET, WALDEN, NY. The so-called advocates routinely breach confidentiality to others about the clients who are or were living in the shelter. Their shelter location is supposed to be CONFIDENTIAL BUT the reasons that the women are at the shelter is confidential too? So I am spreading the word to any and all and posting the address for all abusers and non-abusers to see because their breach has gotten me abused once again by the one I left.

Shame on your OC Safe Homes. You think your shelter is in a private confidential location? Not anymore. You breach my confidentiality, I breach yours.

Thanks a bunch.

This report is 100% accurate. Safe Homes of Organge Counity located at 17 Orchard Street in Walden NY breaches confidentiality his it's residents. Furthermore, the administrative staff and advocates gossip among themselves and residents regarding sensitive domestic violence related matters. This shelter places its residants and their children in danger without a second thought or explanation. Then slander and defame current and former residents to cover their illegal actions. The office staff and advocates Melody, Sarita, Virginia, Faye, Johana, Faye routinely breach confidentiality without any concern for the safety and well being for residents and their families being at risk for theft, judicial bias, law enforcement bias, and in danger of further domestic abuse. There are many shelters be safe spaces for victims of domestic violence, do not trust or turn to Safe Homes of Orange County. They should be sued for their illegalities not trusted with your life and the lives of your children. More victims of Safe Homes abuse should come forward.

I would like to firmly request that someone remove this post. The person who posted this comment has revealed the location of a domestic violence shelter - information that could endanger the lives of countless women and children. I am not a employee, client, or organization representative - just a very concerned citizen. Thank you.

You gave out the address of a Shelter??????? I have worked with Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and other violent crimes and never ever was the shelter location exposed - and that includes court cases involving Family Violence Protective Orders - Thanks to your stupidity the location is now on the world wide web and any perp can find out the location of a safe haven for individuals seeking shelter from an abusive spouse or lover You are a true idiot

Dear Victim of Confidentiality Breach Middletown, New York I do not intend to minimize what happen to you before or after your shelter stay. But, posting this information was irresponsible on your part and not at ALL constructive. Did you consider the safety of other victims and their children?
