I also have a Orchard Bank Mastercard. I've had the card for over 3 years and have never had a problem as long as I follow the rules....I don't go over my credit limit and I make payments by their due date. Easiest way to confirm that your payment posts when you want it to is to make your payments over the internet. When you use the internet you will get a confirmation that shows the date paid and what day it will post to your account, the amount paid and a confirmation number for tracking. If you don't have a checking account, use a pre-paid debit card that is available from a lot of retailers (Walmart is one). If you don't have a computer, go to your local library and use one of their computers.

your statement is quite unclear. banks only hold payments if you have history of bouncing checks or if you had made multiple payments. better check again and find out exactly whats going on.
