Passport Health will never disclose to you that they charge $100 just to get information that you can easily get on Google. I made an appointment simply to walk in and get some shots. Their prices are so outrageous that I told them no, and was then asked to cough up $100 simply for showing up. Ridiculous! They make you pay over a day's wage just to be given information that you probably already know.
On their website there is a section asking what you should expect from your office visit. No where in that section does it mention a consult fee! How hard would it be to add something like, "There may be a consult fee associated with your appointment." That's it. One sentence. It's robbery that they get away with this! I will be contacting the BBB and my lawyer. If they're going to charge these prices, they need to disclose it.

For this excellent service, we charge a consultation fee - an industry standard - to help cover the cost of our highly trained certified travel nurse. And while we use our large network to secure low prices from vaccine manufacturers, specialty vaccines such as those to prevent yellow fever and typhoid fever are inherently expensive.
As the nationwide leader in travel medicine, we have been committed to keeping global travelers safe for more than two decades. Our highest obligation is to you, the traveler, and we take that very seriously when we reccomend to you which vaccines might be needed for that Afircan safari or adventure to India. While our prices vary depending on location, we never charge a fee before first confirming with our patients and we offer full refunds on consultation fees for appointments cancelled at least 24 hours prior.
