This 5 year old report is totally unfounded and totallyundocumentedby an ANONYMOUS liar.

Every customer signs a simple contract when they buy a precious cocker spaniel puppy from my business. this contract states that IF A PUPPY BECOMES ILL after it leaves our home, the customer is suppose to bring the puppy back to us IMMEDIATELY so that we can get the puppy to our vet IMMEDIATELY.

We have no record of a "jill" buying a puppy from us 5 years ago and calling to tell us that she had a sick puppy. so - if this is suppose to be a real situation, the "jill" violated her contract by taking the puppy to a vet and treated this puppy on her own, which violates the health guaranty and renders our business helpless in this so called situation.

IN38 YEARS, WE HAVE HAD TRULY 100's of happy customers - both from the present and the past. If you would please take a minute and check out our references on our website AND ACTUALLY CALL ANY OR ALL OF THEM, they will tell you the truth about our precious cocker spaniel puppies.

And we have acquired many new HAPPY NEW CUSTOMERS in 2010 that would also like to have you call them and takea few minutes and speak with you about the truth of our business and THE HAPPINESS THAT THEIR NEW PUPPY IS GIVING THEIR FAMILY. I receive countless thank you letters and pictures every day.

We are not a puppy mill, and every puppy is raised in a home by a loving family --usually with kids and other pets.

every puppy is personally placed into their new home by me, patricia rockstroh, but sometimes we can arrange for the buyer to go to both homes and meet the owner of the mom and in some cases, AND meet both the sire and the grandpa at my home.

due to my lupus, we made the decision, AT the end of 2008, to retire my small menagerie of beautiful show dogs into nice pet homes.

I only own 4 gorgeous stud dogs, and they too live in my home, not in a kennel.

EVERY ONE OF OUR PUPPIES STARTS out their life in a home, such as yours.

We used to be BLACK KNIGHT ARABIANS, because for the first 35 years, we were established as a farm and loved arabian horses. We produced many fine horses and made many families happy with their new horse.

But with the lupus condition, we finally sold all of our horses and then became

PENNY LANE COCKER SPANIELS. So now we have no more horses, ponies, llamas, donkeys, goats, sheep, etc. WE DECIDED TO RAISE pets on our 10 acre ranch --back in 1972--because we love all types of animals and want to shareTHAT love with other families, such as yours.

We are zoned, registered, filed, ANDinspected, by all of the proper agencies and have ALWAYS HAD AN A1 RESULT FROM ANY INSPECTION. AKC has appeared at our doorstep with a surprise inspection almost every year, and they have always been impressed with the cleanliness of our home and the perfection of my paperwork and filed.

We do not raise show puppies, but we do have very fine bloodlines with no inbreeding. All of these puppies are purebred, and registered akc, in most cases. some of them are a breeder quality. So these are the people that are helping me continue with the new generation of babies. there is no mystery to any of this and it is the perfect way to start a new puppy in this world.

We suspect that these anonymous lies are a result of a jealous competitor, a disgruntled ex employee that might have been fired by us for stealing (long stories), someone that could not pay their payment plan to us and tried to get away with keeping the puppy without payment. or someone that may have had a problem, and refused to follow the rulles for the health guaranty.

Needless to say, we do not have and will not have any more employees here to help with the grooming, training, or ranch work ever again. We did have some very nice people here hired as a legal employees to help me maintain the perfection that I demanded with my animals and I sincerely thank each and every one of the good ones. but it does take a couple of bad apples to ruin it for the others.

SO PLEASE, come and sit om our sofa, play with the puppies, and decide for yourself.

we have been in business since 1972, and hope to continue as long as my health continues.

After several years of dealing with Pat Rochstroh, I learned how she is running a puppy mill for cocker spaniels. On several occasions I had to return a pup for one reason or another, the only way was to exchange for a different pup, never a refund. I would always try to get a better bred, better quality puppy. I have never had one live for more than 5 years from this breeder. The last puppy I purchased was one from a sable/white stud, suppose to have champion bloodlines, and purchased for showing & breeding. The dog is worthless now, he has seizures, which are hereditary. Sire was Sebastians Joker Poker. I used my stud for breeding once, to my own female, also purchased for a large sum of money from Pat. In the litter of 8 puppies, one of them is now also having seizures. When I confronted Pat Rockstroh, she told me it was my problem & if I did anything against her, I would be sued for slandering her. She refused any kind of compensation. Prior, I was promised help in selling my puppies, but she took over half of the sale of each puppy she sold, and did not pay me for two of the puppies she sold for me. I had nothing in writing for the selling, so I was out the money. All people be warned, if it looks too good to be true, it definately is. Later I found out how poorly her dogs live, in very tiny metal cages. I was able to see that the 'breeding' females were not socialized or excercised. She may keep a clean facility on the outside, but be warned on how the animals really live. She only allows public to see a couple of her studs, that she keeps in the house. Pat Rockstroh also works with several other people, who house her dogs in different parts of the state, they bring the puppies down to her to sell. So this not a one facility breeding mill. That is why she always has so many puppies ALL the time. Females are over bred, and under cared for. The public is never allowed to see how she really cares for the breeding dogs that she does have. After talking to people that used to work for her, they confirmed how poorly these animals are treated. They do get fed well, but are not cared for or socialized like dogs need to be, so they are very aggressive & timid to strange people....that is not a cocker spaniel trait. Trust the cocker breeders that ask for a reference, they truley care where their puppies go to. When Pat takes payment arraingements, she is known to loose payments, over charging the writen contract price! Be warned this is a very decieteful, money hungry mongrel! and this....... Make sure you have anything to prove your point from pictures, or even the humane society laws that you can go over with her and show her how many things shes doing wrong. For example, hers just a few laws of the HSUS you could present that shes breaking: Human supervision and presence is provided on a regular, and daily, basis. Adequate shelter, fresh food, and clean water are available. Every animal is given daily exercise, and is not continuously tethered. Every animal is given the appropriate immunization. Every animal has the appropriate license and identification. Every animal is recommended to be spayed or neutered. And just be prepared to put up a good fight. I'm really glad your doing this, it is about time someone did. Please let me know how things turn out!
