Payless Car Rental - Acceleron Duped me into believing that I was going to get a deal then ripped me off! Bruno California
I went with Payless because I thought they were the cheapest. When I got to San Francisco, I had no idea where the company was located. It was not even on-site with the other car rental companies. When I finally figured out how to contact them, I waited 25-minutes for them to pick me up. Once there, they didn't wait on me at first, instead stood around talking. I was in a hurry at that point and hurriedly signed for the automobile. It was way more than quoted to me on the Internet. When I brought it back two days later, the actual cost was double what I expected to pay. It tacked on additional fees stating that I was two hours late bringing it back. They never told me anything about that.
I got a parking ticket and it charged me an additional $25.00. I left San Francisco and went to San Diego. I rented a car from Payless there and paid less for a 5-day car rental than I did for just 2.5 days at Acceleron/Payless Car Rental in San Francisco. They were unwilling to work with me. The staff was rude and belligerant. Their customer service was horrible. I want a refund!
