They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Tina Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: I have used Paypal quite a bit over the past 2 years and have only had one problem - my son erroneously transferred money into the wrong account, which was closed - but we got that resolved straight away. It would only take one digit being off for the problem you describe to happen, and it could be completely innocent. Just for example, what if I set up my paypal account, and you and I use the same bank; my account number is one digit away from yours, and I accidentally put your number in instead of mine. It could happen. keep emailing and faxing them - that worked for me - and I'll bet they'll come around. They're a huge company, seem pretty successful, and I don't think they'd have to resort to stealing from innocent people to make a buck.
