Peak Fitness Fitness Management Disgusting rip off gym Taylors, South Carolina
I went into my Peak Fitness to cancel my membership. I spoke with the guy working the front desk. He played with the computer and informed me that my account was canceled. I moved to California and notice my account was still being charged.
I called Peak, after holding for over an hour, the rep told me I had to fax in a written request. So I did. Only to find another charge the following month.
I called Peak again, they said it was pending and I will continue to get charged until it is canceled.
I fax my written request in on 8/31/09. The cancelation was put in on the 9/10/09. My bill date is 9/9/09. So charged again.
I called Peak again, only to speak with a rude person, who would not give me her name or transfer my call to her superior. I was hung up on again. I am having my bank stop all payments to that place, but I still was charged for 3 months.
Do not sign up with this gym. It is dirty, and the corporate people treat you like trash.
I have also filed a report with the BBB and encourage everyone else who has had a problem to do so.
