I too was suckered by the commercials of a nice, hassle free software to use. The price was also inviting, in that, I have no problems with using dial up, as I have not had in the past, until I tried them. The first signs were the billing issues. I am one to dump any company, at the on-site of billing issues. This will almost always confirm your relationship with the company from jump street, and will set the tone, throughout. First off, they sneakily tell you you are a "trial". There is NO trial, you are charged immediately. Please be careful in chosing the service you want, because their web-site "merges" the "free" 30 day trial, with the try it for $5.99 if you pay 3 months in advance option. Needless to say, when I downloaded the software, it left a TON to be desired. It was a very basic looking software, that has two screens, one of IE and one of your log-in status, which I think is totally unnecessary. Should you not want to see this screen, you can't because if you shut this down, you lose your connection, when you are able to connect. Speaking of connection, I was able to actually get to a web-site, ONCE. People PC kept dialing all the access numbers for my area, over and over and over. It took about 5 minutes to get on-line! Needless to say, the account was terminated, within 48 hours, of signing up.

Great Falls,#3Consumer Suggestion

I too currently have peoplepc, and believe me, when my 30 day free trial is up I will be cancelling. I have experienced the same problem with websites loading. My suggestion is that you call your credit card company, tell them what's going on, and maybe they can help you because you should be refunded for your unused portion, prepaid or not. If that doesn't work threaten with a lawsuit.....maybe that will work...........?????????? Good luck and keep us posted with updates!
