Peoples Credit First ripoff Tampa Florida
In early September I received a letter in the mail that I was guarranteed a Platinum Card with a credit amount of $5000.00 with 0% interest for the 1st 12 months.
The letter said that they already had a name reserved for me. All I had to do was mail the certificate back along with a check for $45.00 for standard processing or $49.00 for rush processing and delivery. I mailed in a check for $49.00 and mailed the certificate back.
On September 25th the check cleared my banking account. But I still have not received any credit card in the mail. I found the number to the company on the internet so I could call and find out the status. I have been trying to contact the company for almost a week now. The number is either busy or a recording comes on saying that all consulants are busy and to call back.
I am very upset about this. My husband and I are in the process of buying a new house and every penny counts now. I feel like I just threw away $49.00 for no reason what so ever.
