PEP BOYS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! LOS ANGELES, WESTCHESTER California
I have never been so disrespected by a group of employees in my entire life. On Saturday, October 27, I had a flat tire. I had already told myself that I would never visit the Westchester branch (474) for two reasons: 1) they are too slow and 2) I have never liked the way I was treated by their staff.
I had managed to avoid them for over a year, but on this particular day, my flat occurred so close to that store and my tires were under warranty there, so (like an idiot) I went back. At the service counter, I received the usual no eye contact and the Ill-get-to-you-when-I-get-to-you treatment (as expected). I made my service request with Joseph Rachal, the manager I had dealt with several times in the past, and took a seat in the waiting area.
I ended up waiting for over four hours when I asked the new worker behind the desk how much longer to which he responded O, we wont be able to get to it tonight, we have a trailer outside that were working on so come back tomorrow. I had been at the store long enough to see the trailer pull up. When I asked why they were working on the trailer, which needed more serious repairs, when I had been here first the man replied they had an appointment. I did not know that I needed an appointment for a flat tire. I then explained to the man that it was only a flat tire and asked why it had taken so long his response was: Well I wasnt the one dealing with you. The only reason he was not the one dealing with me was because he ignored me when I had originally approached the counter.
After a little more begging, he begrudgingly agreed to have the repair made. I waited for another hour. In total, I waited for over five hours for a flat tire. Your employees at this particular location either have a problem with customer service or with women (because the few times I actually was looked at by your employees, they were observing me neck down) or both. I have never been so disgusted with an organization. This is my last time doing business with Pep Boys.
