I have also had the UNPLEASANT experience with dealing with this company and have since moved my belongings to somewhere safe and secure. One of the reasons I left, was because of the new manager, Erin. I approached her about water inside my unit and damage to some of my stuff, I found that mice has nested inside my sofa. Erin's response to me was, "we do not cover damage"!! I asked who owned the business since I wasn't getting anywhere with her and was told she was not allowed to give out that information. Now that I know who owns it, I'm going to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau, So, thanks Cathy and Ms. Wort, don't you worry about a thing, the Better Business Bureau will take care of this now and you can move your Landscaping stuff into my mice infested units that I had!

I've been a tenant at Pirate's Cove in Pinckney for almost two years. I have one of the 10' x 20' units and I store supplies for my landscaping business as well as some furniture from my home that I had to store there when I moved. I just don't understand how "Kathy" could have had a completely different experience than I have had in my two years at there, including the time since Erin's been manager. What's more, there is just no way that the owners would have reacted the way you say they did if you told them that they were being treated badly by one of their employees. It's a customer service business in a very competitive world and she'd have been fired if what you say is true. I just don't buy it. Doubtful in Livingston County
