Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been getting false reports ever since I started working there a few months ago. The general manager promised me that I would get my promotion 30 days after I started working there. Every time I ask him about it he continues to lie to me.

He is constantly saying derogitory remarks toward my appearance, weight, intelligence, etc. He has slapped me on the butt before with a spatula and when I told him that hurt..he told me to shut up.

I have been keeping track of my hours worked and I clock in and start working as soon as I get there. Before he submits my time card to payroll he will cut my hours back so that I do not get overtime!! There is money owed to me by that company.

This manager treats me like a slave... I work my butt off to get things done that need to be done and all I get are complaints written by him about me. He does these things to the other manager I work with also.

There is an employee there that has been making less than what he should be and the manager refuses to compensate him for his time. Employees that repeatedly screw up and do not do what they are told are written up and the reports are supposed to go to the corporate office. Instead if the employee is like by the manager none of the write ups ever go to the office. They are thrown out!!

He has strong connections to upper management and complaints filed against him are disregarded. He took a bank deposit home the other night and had the other manager cover it up by making another deposit in place of that one so that no one would find out.

I am tired of being lied to and harassed...nothing I ever do is good enough and I get shot down every time I work with him!!

Call the DOL

#2Consumer Suggestion

Fri, March 28, 2008

You and the other worker should give a call to the state DOL with your pay problems. Document the hours you worked on a notepad for your notes as well as the time punch. If he is changing your hours he is supposed to have your intials there as well as proof that you are aware of the changes. The DOL can get you and your coworker back pay as well. I can pretty much guarantee you PH will not cover up anything you tell directly to DOL to protect the manager. He will be out on his butt in hours after they visit.
