PonyExpress ripoff Skokie Illinois
We contracted thru Empire Moving Services to load and transport household goods from my parent's residence in Morton, Illinois to Scottsdale, Arizona. Apparently Empire sub contracted Pony Express from Chicago, Illinois to do the actual transport of the household goods.
All goods were packed on 6/12/2006 and allegedly transported to Chicago to be turned around and shipped to Scottsdale on 6/12/2006. Noted within the various documents and inventory sheets by Pony Express, the delivery date to Scottsdale was to be no later than 6/23/2006.
After several telephone calls to PonyExpress and many to the dispatcher, we were told that due to the increase in the quantity of household goods, Pony Express indicated that it would be necessary to delay shipment to Scottsdale by 2 weeks. At this time we have neither received the guaranteed 24 hour notice of delivery nor the goods.
