Complaint Review: Private Label Dressprovider - Internet Internet

Hi, I am a customer that truly does my research before purchasing items on the internet, or in person for that matter. I came across this Ripoff Report, and would like to comment that I am a very happy customer of this company, and know for a fact that this is a legitimate company. 

Now I won't lie and say that everything went smoothly from this company, and that the person who wrote this report did state some things that are red flags for companies who rip people off. 

I my self started to get worried when the company emailed me and said that I should get my dress by a cretin date, and it never showed. I called my mom panicked, I went to the post office everyday for two weeks, I even emailed the company over and over again. And my emails were sent back to me every time stating that there was no such email.

That scarred me more than anything, considering my wedding is only in two months from now and I was terrified I was not going to have a dress.  Then I remembered that I received several emails from the company when I placed my order with them. So I thought back to that and I sent an email with my concerns to the company to that email, and received a response back from them with in 48 hrs.

They notified me that they had not received my emails and that the link on the site was broken and not sending them emails. They also informed me that my dress would be to me in 7- 10 days and that they mailed it on the date they originally emailed me. They informed me that it would arrive from UPS. I contacted UPS and they said that the package was not in their system and to give it the full 7- 10 days the company quoted me, and then if it did not show up contact them again. 

Needless to say I was so frustrated with UPS, how could they not know where my dress was. The company assured me that it would arrive and to notify them if it did not. I waited and waited, FINALLY my dress showed up, and the UPS guy informed me that UPS had lost my package in transit and that it took them longer to get it to me, and that the company was not at fault. 

So as for the company they are  legitimate, but the email link on the site does not work, and there is not a phone number to reach them. 

As for the check out of the dress its self, the web site is very easy to use and is user friendly. When I entered my information on there and hit pay. It directed me to a web secure site company that does the foreign exchange rate for you.  The price quoted on the site was $198.99, + 10 for inner zipper, + tax. The final price after doing the currency conversion came to $234.00.  The price did not come out to some absorbent amount of money, there are a few dresses listed on the site that are around a $1000.00. So this consumer might have went to the wrong dress by accident, and not realized this. I know that I almost made the same mistake.

In all I did not know what to expect from this company, I am happy to say that I received my dress exactly as pictured, an it is more amazing in person. The dress that I purchased was a copy of a $2000.00 Maggie Sorrtero dress, and I have to tell you it is almost nicer then that dress. I took it to my local dress shop to have the length brought up a bit, and they thought it was a $2000.00 dress.

I live in the middle of no where and do not have access to allot of bridal shops, so I had to travel to the city.  When I was at a shop there I was trying on dresses that were from this company, and fell in love with them. The owner new that I could not make up my mind and lived 5 hours from the city, gave me this companies information, and said that all of his dresses come from there, and that they were a wonderful  company to work with. I would have to say that they do need to improve their site to provide a valid email link to their site. 

In all the person who said that they are a Ripoff company should have done a little bit more research before posting this very real company on here.
