I was recently terminated from PTI,on August 4th 2013. The reason stated to me was for a speeding offence.Nowhere that Im aware of is it stated in the PTI handbook of what the possible consequenses are if an employee goes beyond a set speed limit. We all at times must exceed speed limit do to traffic situations. Apparently as for my story, an e-mail was sent to formere manager (Doug Hall) about a speeding infraction. This e-mail was never acted upon in a timely and professional manner. Apparently his focus was on moving to Altoona Wis. as soon as he could, and bypassing his duties and obligation as manager of the G-3 (Rochelle,Ill.) location.Had I been properly notified of such occurance Im sure my termination could have avoided.I wasnt aware of this situation, until former manager(Doug Hall) had transferred and the new manager had taken over. In retrospect for any people considering employment with PTI. You better make d**n sure you have all the rules on paper and be prepared for not making much money and driving unreliable veheciles.

I feel your pain. i drew 204 dollars and have over half my stuff in pawn because of this company there's a no strike clause in the PTI union contract as well through the Local 1222 from UPSEU. we can't even get them to take an interest in our area so there's no representation there either. my car is knocking due to the fact it's over due for an oil change by 10,000 miles and no one else in our area is hiring. i've been looking for another job going on three years now... it's bogus. we need legal help since a strike is considered a volentary quit ='(
