Professional Transportation Inc (PTI) has not paid my husband for work done since Oct. 1, 2012 - today is Nov. 9, 2012.  They have all kinds of excuses.  Today being that 2 checks have been direct deposited into our bank account.  I have printed out all statements since October and my husband also called the bank and there have been NO DIRECT DEPOSITS nor any Direct Deposit Check notifications sent to us.

He figured he was owed $400...but, PTI says they paid him $128 in one check and $86 (for 12 hours of road time).  He has spend his own gas money, personal time, vehicle, computer time, print outs, copies of work done and signed by CSX train crews with their signatures and ID number.  We are lucking that he made copies of those work forms with CSX Engineers' signatures or ID numbers or we might not have a case at all.  They also claimed at one time he didn't work for them - again these work forms w/signatures/ID numbers have proven HE did work for them, at those times, with those train crews.

We are very fortunate that PTI is not our major form of income or we wouldn't be eating for 2 months.  We have worked in the past with very good companies where we never had to worry if we were paid or when paid.  Seems PTI is an expert in trying not to pay even at min. wage or .14 a mile driven.

When he met with the local supervisor today to show that he had worked, the hours worked, the time/drive miles worked - proving once again that he did work for them and that he did work those hours/miles - she had the gull to ask if he would continue to work on Good Faith - He told her he was not doing any more work for PTI until he saw a check.

It is a sad state of affairs when one making min. wage and 4.67/hr in drive time - has to possibly file a claim with the Dept. of Labor.  PTI is not a small organization - they have no right to withhold pay!

CSX also needs to be made aware of the failure to pay when they are contracting PTI to provide such a service as to be there on time and transport their crews with professional (i.e. their name) employees.
