When I called on April 25, 2007 I was given a price of $1,199.00 but, I was kind of skeptical about ordering out of the Lowrider Magazine because I've heard numerous people including Western Union(Quick Collect) state that they were scamming people so I asked Jason if I could pay a smaller amount up front only for my piece of mind and so he requested $200.00 and told me that my rims would be shipped out on April 27, 2007 and for me to call him back after 5 p.m. to get my tracking number. When I called back Alex told me that he was gone for the day and for me to call back the next day(4-28-07).

On 4-28-07 I called as soon as they opened at 9 a.m. and Alex said that Jason wasn't there yet and that he would'nt be in until 9:30 a.m. When I called back 30 minutes later Alex then said that Jason took the day off and at that point I asked him if he could give me my tracking number and he told me that Jason was the only one that dealt with the shipping.

On 4-29-07 I called once again as soon as they opened and spoke to Jason and he told me that my rims did indeed ship out on 4-27-07, but when I asked for the shipping number that he was supposed to provide me with on 4-27-07 he told me to call him back after 5 p.m. once again and that's when I asked him if he was sure that he would be there this time and he said that he would, but when the time came for some odd reason he was gone for the day and I still didn't have a tracking number.

The next day I called I was very frustrated and pretty much tired of getting the run around. I then spoke to Alex and he told me that the rims were not shipped out and that they needed my permission to ship the rims to me in which I've never heard of anything like that in my life. They then said that I would owe them $1,500.00 C.O.D. reminding you that I was only supposed to owe them $999.00 once I received the rims. On 5-1-07 after all of this I finally got sick of the B.S. and told them to give me my money back and they said that they were putting the check in the mail that same day.

After a few days had gone by once I felt like I should've been received my refund I kept on calling back to back giving them a piece of my mind, but they just stuck to their story and said that the check had been mailed out to me.

As of 5-13-07 after all of the phone calls and holding on the phone for 15-30+ minutes at a time I still haven't gotten my money back yet and I know it doesn't take 11 days (-Sunday's)for mail to reach it's destination from C.A. to N.C.! For everyone thinking of making a purchase from Quick Fit Tires or even out of the Lowrider Magazine I have three words "DON'T DO IT"!

Quick Fit Tires: Refund

#2Author of original report

Thu, May 17, 2007

I finally received my refund after 15 days had gone by. why it took so long I will never know, but now it does'nt even matter just so long as I got my money back. Best believe I've learned my lesson and most definitely will not or even attempt to order out of the Lowrider Magazine!
