I GOT SCAMMED, by these rotten people as well. Heres my story:

I was sent a letter in the mail in early 2004 saying that I had just won A "DREAM VACATION". To obtain this vacation, all I had to do was call the 800 number provided, and they would tell me all about it. I was gullible and had just recently turned 18, and more recently than that received a credit card.

Curiously, I called the 800 number and listened for about 30mins as the salesman explained to me that I had won this once in a lifetime trip and I would be crazy not to claim it. I told him I would have to think about it, and call back.

I was then told that I had to make my decision right then, or I would forfeit my "prize". That should have been my first clue. Not wanting to lose this great opportunity I told them I would take it, and eagerly gave my credit card number.

I realized after about two weeks time that I had been scammed, but was to embarrassed and ashamed to tell anyone about it especially my parents. Since the company had a no refund policy (CLUE NUMBER 2) and I wasn't ever going to use this package I figured I was stuck, so I shoved everything in my closet and forgot all about it.

Almost two years went by, and I had long since forgotten the whole ordeal when I received a message from a man named Sean Gallager on Tuesday (october 4, 2005) regarding the package I had purchased in March of 04. When I called Mr. Gallager back, I was shocked when he told me that my account with them would expire in 3 days, and I had until Saturday to pay the remaining balance.

Confused I asked him what he meant by a remaining balance. He explained to me that when I purchased the package from his company that I entered into a verbal contract that stated that I would find another person to go on the trip with me, and they would pay the same amount I did.

Since I had not used the trip, and it was about to expire, I was now responsible for the remaining balance (which was around $800.00). I asked him what would happen if I did not pay this balance and he told me that the account would be sent off to a collection agency and listed as delinquent on my credit report, and that it was in my best interest to pay it off.

That's when I started doing research on the company and was horrified when I found all the other people that they had scammed. I am now currently in the process of trying to get my money back. I have done tons of research in the last few days and am getting frustrated, but im not giving up.

Good luck!!
