Raven Media You can cancel at any time, but forget about getting your money back!!! Internet
I downloaded the software for Raven Media for $1.99 with the understanding that I could cancel at any time. When I called to cancel the service the representative informed me of a refund for the $39.95 monthly charge. Yet, no sooner than "refund" came out of representative's mouth, she back tracked so fast my head was spinning. She informed me that even though I had cancelled I would still have to pay for a month in advance, so I would not be able to recoup the money they had taken from my bank account. What part of cancel do they not understand? Why would I want to pay for a new month of service that I don't want & had just cancelled? I don't remember seeing anywhere in terms & conditions that I would have to pay an additional month just for the sake of cancelling.
Raven Media is definitely out to help themselves, not the consumer. If anyone wants to find out about government grants, I highly recommend you go the the library!!!!
