Purchased a ReDriven turbine with 100% payment in advance before receiving product.  After over nine months finally began receiving in parts.  After a year or so, first unit went up.  Directions for installation were unclear and wrong.  Unit parts burned out on many occasions and after waiting for months replacement was done with used parts that operated but dysfunctionally.  After six months of actual implemntation, units inside home melted and turbine is dismantled waiting for repair and/or replacement.  Three years of contact with company representatives giving promises and offers have got resulted in nothing.  All installation costs equal to the cost of the turbine itself are also wasted.  Company represntative has offered and we agreed to a cash settlement months ago.  In keeping with the misrepresentation and fraudulant guarantees this company has spewed from the beginning, the settlement is still not here.  We are left with clean up costs as per local township regulations and all hope of creating green energy is lost.

The lack of honesty and replacement of what we thought was American product with used parts and piecemeal contact has resulted in more than loss of money.  This company continues to advertise and offer great things to unsuspecting customers.  They demand money up front from customer and then that customer is at the mercy of the company to follow through with their promises.  It all sounds great, produce energy, connect to the Internet to watch your success, support from the company for repairs!  Trouble is, once money is paid, customer loses.

Is there any hope for a good resolution?  Would it help to get an attorney? If they aren't living up to the terms of the contract, there's the FTC, the BBB and possible the state's attorney general where the business is based.  I wish you the best in dealing with this.

You're right, their website makes it look like a top quality product. Your ROR may well help others looking to produce green power to look elsewhere.

I luckily found a very reputable company to install my 8kw solar system in July 2010.  My wife and I are very pleased with it.
