Went to Regency Furniture at Largo, Maryland on Sept 26, 2012

 We just moved and we (my husband & I) were looking for two piece sectional in micro- fiber

We could not find it in the store but we were assured by sales representative called Richard that we can order it online. He showed us the piece on the computer and guaranteed that the two piece sectional that we chose was in micro-fiber.

When we received the two piece sectional, 3 weeks after the date guaranteed, it was two pieces sectional in corduroy. I called him and he admitted that the wrong two pieces sectional was delivered and that he will speak to his manager. Couple of days later, he got back to me stating that they will exchange the sectional but I should pay for pick up only, and will be allowed
to pick another sectional that is micro fiber.

He told me to go to the store and speak to Lauren in order to verify and confirm the right sectional. He also told us to arrange to pay for only pick up. On the 8th December 2012, we went and spoke to Lauren to verify and confirm the sectional. Lauren told us Richard insisted that she informed us of the two piece sectional being micro-fiber. We told Lauren that we were supposed to arrange for pick up and she said she knew nothing about that. I called Richard days after not hearing from him, and I was shocked to hear that the matter was out of his hands and I would have to speak to his manager. His manager called Moe came on the line, and the first thing he said was that I would have to pay 30% restock fee if I needed my two piece sectional
micro-fiber. I tried to explain to him what had occurred but he said that that was not the story Richard had conveyed to him.

When I disagreed with this new arrangement, he referred me to customer service. I called customer service and spoke to two people, both told me that their customer manager will call me back within 24 to 48 hrs; still no call from customer manager. THIS IS THE WORSE FURNITURE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THEY HAVE THE WORSE SALES PEOPLE, WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I MIGHT HAVE LOST MY MONEY, BUT READERS PLEASE DON'T LOSE YOURS. BUY YOUR FURNITURE FROM A COMPANY THAT WILL NOT LIE TO YOU, SCAM YOU AND WILL DELIVER ON TIME. DON'T DEAL WITH THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
