Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Dennis Reinhart at the time was a preferred vendor on www.tccoa.com.  I had purchased parts from him in the past with no issue.  In May 2002 I ordered a Dr Gas X-pipe from Dennis Reinhart.  What I received was 8 Iridium spark plugs and a 80mm Lightning MAF sensor.  I contacted Dennis about this via PM on TCCoA.  Dennis asked me to call him about this.  I called him, he was upset about how this could happen and tried to blame me for the mistake.  He said to send the parts back to him and I would be refunded for the order.  I sent the parts back to Dennis and Dennis claimed the parts were missing in shipping as he claimed that he never received them.  I then had the parts traced by the shipper and the shipper claimed and proved to both Dennis and I that Dennis indeed received the parts.  I still had not been refunded for the parts.  After numerous calls to Dennis Reinhart, I never received a refund and he has the parts I paid for on a mistake made by him.  He was completely dishonest with me.  I posted my situation on numerous boards that Dennis frequents as well as the truthaboutreinhart website to hopefully get Dennis to correct the mistake he made.

...No one edits reports on this site..which is a good thing. And anyone can rebut.

Apparently this is an old complaint..and the poster states near the beginning of this report and I quote..." In May 2002 I ordered a Dr Gas X-pipe from Dennis Reinhart."

You confirm this in your rebuttal. So what has this site done that is not reputable? There is no statute of limitations on complaints and anyone who would care enough to read this report would noticed the date stated in the report..if they can read at all.

Granted this seems petty over some spark plugs from that long ago..but apparently this poster is considering taking principle to the grave. Maybe you can just send the d**n refund already..and then you won't have to keep coming back here to remind everyone it is an old complaint..even though it is stated in the report already...and then the matter will be closed.

But to insult and disparage this forum is uncalled for, it actually helps a lot of people with much bigger problems then either of you have stated here. Do we get a kook now and again...of course..but freedom of speech works for everyone equally..and as well, that is a good thing. Part of the beauty is we are free to read a report, reply to a report, post a report, or ignore a report. It may not be the BBB, but at least we can read a complaint from more then 36 months back here. And ALL parties can state their sides for all to see, never to be edited or removed.

Rebutal of a eight year old complaint

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, October 12, 2010

First of all, if this was a reputable site they would not allow a complaint that is eight years old, this alleged allegation took place in May of 2002.

I have not been a member of the TCCOA in over five years, I have not sold any thing on this site in over six years, so this site ROR is missleading members that even look at this, that this was recent, it was not, it has to be at least eight years ago, and I am sure I tried with reasoning to resolve it, to be honest I do not know many large repair shops that go back eight years.

And knowing the reputation of this site, they do not care of the date of the alleged issue. This site is for people that you will you never make happy. And if what they said was true, why would they not have filed a complaint with accredited agency such as the Better Business Bureau. Or the Florida Department of Agriculture that control my licensing?

I will tell you why, because I would have proven documentation that I did all I could to resolve the issue. And then they would be faced with liable.

So this person has been prompted to post a eight year old complaint. Any decent person can see right through this I do not feel I need to say more.

Here is the link to the Florida Department of http://www.doacs.state.fl.us/ , which control my license. My license number is MV16984

Here is the link for the Florida BBB. I suggest any one look at the BBB http://northeastflorida.app.bbb.org/report.html?ID=3389&wlcl=y for my companies history, since the BBB is a credited agency. Not Rip Off Report
