Well I must say RAC has came to their lowest with me. I've been a long time customer with RAC, I currently own (8) items and about to pay off my 9th. I've had some payment problems with my last item and only have 91.00 to go on a Computor other than that I've been a good paying customer. I've lost a family member and they didn't have burial insurance so eveyone in the family chipped in. While out of town my neighbors are looking after my 17 old teenager and house sitting, RAC came to the house serveral times but of course no one is home.

On 9/15/07 they got besides themselves by banging on my front door and proceeded to (3) of my front windows. My Son was at the house this a.m getting ready for work and opened the door and told them that his parents isn't home, he also advised them they were trespassing by banging on the windows. Now tell me why would a grown RAC employee get into an argument with my child because he won't provide personal info to them adn made threats, that employee was very lucky that I wasn't at home.

My neighbors checked my windows for damages and contacted me. I sent a complaint to the Corp Office. If anyone plans file a class action against RAC I'm so in. They are soo unprofessional, I now see why that store has such a high turn over in employees.

This is for the ex employee, there is a thing within the company known as an open door policy. If you know of any wrong doing within the store it is up to you to let the next person in comand know about the problem. Something cant be corrected if people hide it. If you knew that the manager was a thief why didn't you report it to your DM or RD? and as for the benefits plus, it is clear you have no idea as to how much money this program can actualy save the customer. Do your home work before you start discredeting a good program. The company is a great company and a great place to work,when coworkers hide wrong doings nothing good can come from it. All I can say is I'm very sorry you were placed in that kind of store enviroment but you could have put a stop to it by going to your DM and if he or she wouldn't listen you could have gone to your RD.

Perhaps if you paid your bill on time like a responsible adult, they would not have been forced to track you down via a visit to your house. It is not clear exactly how they "took advantage" of your son. My guess is that they never did, you are just making up stories. Next time, handle your financial affairs in a mature, responsible fashion, don't place blame for YOUR problems on others, and set a good example for your son.

My question to you is, did you actually contact the store and let them know the situation? If your pay history is as sterling as you say, the store would more than likely willing to find a viable solution to the problem. A little contact goes a long way. When a customer with a large amount of accounts goes over a week past due with no contact, RAC does get a little worried. As for the trespassing, unless they were to go into a fenced back yard (state law varies), no tresspassing occurred.

I worked for Rent A Center for 6 months. My manager stole from the company. Here is how...The manager would ask for alot of money down, say..3 wks down..then she would code in the computer and give 3 wks and pocket the money. This happened all the time. What a crook, also drug addicts working for Rent A Center is a problem. For the record my manager was getting ready to move me to sales manager and I refused, I give a 2 wks notice and left before I went down with that crook. Rent A Center knows shes a crook but I promise they do not care. A class action lawsuiy would be what they deserve. Id gladly help in anyway. I gave my notice and left peacefully and even after I left that b***h was calling me running her mouth. I totally agree that RAC is very unprofessional.and to help everyone out in the future, Benifits Plus is a rip, I took the insurance from 7 % to 49% all that money goes into the companys pocket and they do not like to honer the insurance. RAC is honestly a rip..no lie.
