I searched online 12/6 and found a website that claimed to write resume and cover letters that would guarantee me a position in the industry I am searching in. I sent them a message along with resume and cover letter, I didn't hear anything back from them so I contacted them on 12/10 to check status of my resume.
I was told he sent it last week but never saw it in my profile. I tried to contact them and speak to someone on the phone and was told that wasn't a part of my package I paid for so I sent another email and received my resume and cover letter on 12/11 with a copy and paste type of cover letter, the resume didn't include my current positions, after further research I didn't send right resume so I resubmitted, was told he would fix it and update cover letter with detail to help me get a position in remote customer service industry.
I was told over and over it had been updated but everything was the same, no changes besides a few words. I continued to try to work with the company resume writer and finally sent them a message asking them for a refund or a resume and cover letter that met my objective.
I have yet to hear anything back now, I do understand the holidays but I sent my last message to them on 12/27.
They were paid for a service they didn't provide. The resume and cover letter provided seemed like a copy and paste for different industries and was not tailored to my goal or objective.

Please tell me how a resume writer can guarantee you a job in an unrelated industry they have no ownership of and no connection to??? One more thing, the "Objective" line in a resume is RIDICULOUS and is nothing more than somebody copying somebody else's faulty resume. You write a ONE PAGE cover letter telling the decision maker what job you are applying for. The resume should be short and sweet. Nobody has time to read "War and Peace"!
