I just got home from one of those $500 Rich Dad Seminars, and I must say that it was very much like the previous complaint posted on this site in 2007, except that the prices have gone-up of course...

Current on-site prices for classes:

Cash Flow: $9,990

Wealth Builder: $16,990

Wealth Acceleration: $25,990

Business Success: $34,990

Financial Freedom: $43,990

Land Investment: $65,990

And I think the worse part of the whole thing was not the hard sell, but rather the way I was treated when I had my chance to sit w/ one of the "advisors."

I was very much looking forward to this meeting and even asked for a particular advisor. Upon our initial contact, he asked me what my intentions were and when I stated I was not ready to purchase yet but... I must say that the seat was not even warm by the time I left it. I might have spend 2 minutes there if that. What was so stupid on his part was that although I was not interested in a large package deal, that did not mean I was not interested in other options like going to their forum or individual classes, but I soon lost that interest when I was treated w/ such disrespect.

I could sense the tension to sign people up, and so I made it quite clear that I understood I was not important enough to talk to, because I am not buying into the program at this time" and instead of agreeing, he stated that the meeting w/ him was for getting into the program, which entailed buying a package deal. I thought this man/Paul was so stupid and inappropriate because if he would have spoken further to me, had not rushed me, and had taken the time to explore my situation further and answer my questions, he may have found that I might have bought into going to their forum next year.

Instead, he not only dis'ed me, but he even had the audosity to tell another advisor who was answering the questions which he felt were not deserving of any advisors time, that she was needed by other potential students. With that, I decided enough was enough and came home to research this outfit, only to find this blog. to take-out my frustrations at their ignorance.

If there is anything I can do to assist w/ other complaints regarding this joint adventure of Rich Dad/Wealth Intelligence Academy, please feel free to notify me.
