Richie Bros sells equipment as-is but they hide known issues and charge very high fees for junk equipment. I purchased Bobcat that was running but when I got there day later it won't start. Not only would they not help getting it started, they charged me to buy it and when I just said sell it, they charged me again. They have no compassion - I would never trust anything they said or do. Do Not buy stuff from this company.

Ray, we are sorry that you had a bad experience working with Ritchie Bros. All of our yards are open for inspection of equipment anytime a customer wants to come and take a look at the items that they are interested in purchasing. We clearly sell everything “as is” with no warranties expressed or implied unless listed otherwise.

When the decision was made to resell the loader you purchased, a contract was created that you signed that clearly stated that there would be charges to resell. You had the option to take the loader home at anytime before the contract was completed. Ritchie Bros.' staff is always willing and ready to assist customers in any way we can in the yard, and as it can be very busy the day after an auction, it can sometimes take time for them to get around to all of the jump start requests.
