If you've had a problem with RJ-Performance that has NOT been resolved, contact Industry Canada at 800-348-5358. Hit 2 for English, and then 0 to speak to an officer.
This is an independent LAW ENFORCEMENT organization. They have the power to investigate and prosecute; the result can be court injunctions, fines, and jail time if they successfully prosecute.
You or I will probably never see a penny of the money we've been screwed out of, but if enough people complain RJ-Performance can be forced to change their practices.

As usual proof is always in the documentation, Moffit Scrap Iron makes reference that it wasn't as advertised. Yet he didn't pay the advertised price. It is advertised at $6250.00 and weather than is in US funds or Cdn funds that is more than Moffit paid. They paid and never argued in their comments a total of $5000.00 for the engine. When the engine was ordered, he wasn't told were the engine was shipping from. So to say that the origin has any reflection on the cost of the engine is non sense. To date the engine has never been sent back to us for a refund that he was origninally asking for. Moffit now acknowledges that he does have an invoice which when he put the complaint in was several months after receiving the engine he said he never received. Bottom line is that he wanted a deal, so he got a take out engine as invoiced and signed on. It was worth less money for a reason, because it wasn't the engine shown in the picture. It was a take out with much higher mileage and usage. To make statements such as Moffit has chosen to make are slander. Once again, I am happy to send the documentation to anyone that calls me direct. It's hard to be a liar or cheat with documents available.

The lies and misconception from Jonathon Campbell will never end, he's a well practised shyster. The regular price was never mentioned to be in USD.Why would it be USD when the"2005 6.0 litre was coming from Montreal" and we were dealing with a Canadian company? The "signed invoice "does not exist. The payment went through before any invoice was made, we paid prior to recieving the invoice in order to expedite the transaction upon verbally agreeing to a 2005 6.0L powerstroke. We had to phone Jonathon Campbell from RJ Performance to fax a copy of the invoice to Moffatt Scrap Iron and Metal Inc. When we recieved the invoice after payment had been made, he had omitted the year and sold it as simply a 6.0L powerstroke, so that we were unable to return it based on the year, clearly he has played this trick many times. The id tags had been intentionally removed / scraped off with a scraper or razor blade so that identifying the year and engine specifics was difficult The only reason we need to return the goods is that they were misrepresented to us in the begining. When we found rj performance online, he had a picture of a failrly clean looking 2005 6.0L. Upon contacting and ordering the engine, the one we recieved was clearly not the one in the picture, it was rusty beat up 2004 6.0L. As for the return policy that is clearly indicated on the invoice faxed over after the transaction had been completed, it should only apply to goods that are defective not when the seller sent the wrong goods in the first place.

Dan from Moffit Scrap Iron, ordered this engine in Campbellville. The regular price for these engines is $6250.00 USD as indicated on our website. But Mr. Dan Moffit needed a deal. So we sold him a used 6.0L engine for $5000.00. That was a savings to him of $2812.50. It was shipped from Montreal to a thrid party carrier in Toronto that took it the balance of the way to Campbell Ville. We have no control over Day and Ross (the transport company) for delays. This was purchased in October of 2008. Dan signed the invoice before the engine was shipped. On that invoice our return policy is cleary indicated along with a indication we are not responsible for freight delays. We will hold open the option of return for 180 as specified by Industry Canada. I guess by trying to help the hard working guy, we just end up with egg on our face. Mr. Moffit received exactly what he ordered and signed off on. Our return policy is strict as over the 13 years of opperation we have had people return product that isn't ours, product that has had parts removed and exchanged and product that has been damaged. We can't refund anything until an inspection is done. It is just busness sense. It is too bad this fellow feels we let him down. Jonathon Campbell
