If you're like me and stumbled across this company looking for a job then keep looking. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owners last year when I applied for a sales position. Back then the company was called Marketing FX which you will find quite a few reports about them.
The scam is true. They hold a second interview which takes usually 6-8 hours where they send you into a potential client and try and sell a product. Even if you make the sale, they wont call you back and you just worked a day's shift for free.
I have not applied or visited the new 'Rock Executives' but I have viewed the site, not only do they have the same annoying layout as Marketing FX but the owner made things easy and put his photo up for you to see.
Any other concerns you have you can just refer to the reports on Marketing FX.
Good luck!

It never sits well getting a complaint on a website called "Ripoff Report" about yourself or your company.  So I figured I would take a minute and explain a few things.

First of all, a scam is a trick to swindle someone out of something.  I apologize if someone felt mislead or duped into working here, that is not our intention and would be completely unproductive.  Nothing on our website or job postings says something that is not true.

The easiest way for us to explain the position and the business is to show someone. So we do a
full day second interview (7-8 hours), similar to a job shadow to give each candidate a chance to experience what would be expected of them if they are hired. This interview is also designed for us to learn more about the intangibles of the individual.  Most people appreciate the opportunity to see what the position entails before they are hired or trained.  We do not allow an interview to "sell" or speak to potential customers regarding the client we are representing.  They are only there to observe the account manager and for that account manager to get to know their skill set.

Marketing FX was a separate company that we shared office space with.  They relocated and we stayed in the same office.  They had their own practices and we had ours.  So, I can't speak on their behalf.

The bottom line is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  There are a lot of career paths that I would not want to pursue but I respect anyone that works hard and enjoys what they do.
