Royal Crown Compendium, RCC, Michel Factor, Royal Crown Compendium Issuances, Data Control Dept., So called "private company" sends payment notice for over a million dollars with no La Verne, California
My name is Faith, it is Saturday, August 22, 2009. Tonight my mother brought me a piece of mail. It looked interesting....odd even. I asked my mom what she thought it was and she said that it was probably some elaborate scheme promotion....interesting that she said that.
So I open it up and it says payment notice at the top so immediately I am thinking "bill collector" and in the back of my mind I'm like this doesn't look like a typical bill collection notice. As I read further I realized it was a notice saying that I had been "SELECTED" to "win" $1,850,000.000 upon my signature on the x'd line at the bottom of the notice, confirming my ID.....oh and a processing fee of $19 to be sent along with the detachable document.
By now I'm thinking to myself, "Do I have Bo Bo the fool written on my forehead?" So I look at the signature....my bad I mean "photocopyed" signature at the bottom of this so called assessor. Normally when some signs a document like the one this "company" was trying to pass off as legit they have the typed name right under the signature....BUT NOOOOO. So I wanted to talk to someone from this company to ask them what kind of fool they thought I was. I maybe 21 year-old struggling college student but I'm not idiot.
So I like for a contact number only to discover that there isn't one. BIG SUPRIZE there. Since I couldn't find a contact number on this falsified document I decided to expand my research and satisfy my curiosity by checking the internet to see if this company had a fake website to go with the fake documents and low and behold, my gut was right and so was my mom, I found this site with 12 different reports on this "company". I had to contribute my report as well as soon as read the other reports.
I thought to myself....Imagine how many scam notices this fake company has sent.....hundreds, thousands maybe. And what about those who may have fell for this scam. Nine dollars adds up if enough people fall for it. And my heart goes out to the single mom. I know in this day and age 1 million dollars or more would be the answer a lot of prayers.
If anyone out there is getting notices like this please don't your research and don't be fooled. And those who have figured it out report to the Better Business Bureu. They would be very interested in this kind of info. I have already made my report. I hope that my entry helps someone.
