On November 28, 2006, I purchased an Executive Package from Save Avenue, Inc. to create a Web Page store and paid $2,495.00. I was told this amount was refundable.

After several months of no sales, I contacted their sales personnel and asked to have my refund of the purchase price. I was told I had to wait exactly 12 months.

So on November 28, 2007 I called and was told that I did not qualify for a refund because they did not have a signed copy of the "GUARANTEE" page in my folder.

When I was sent the welcome package from Save Avenue, there were instructions as to all the paperwork that was needed to be sent back enclosed in a sealed catalog type package.

I have a copier at home and immediately made copies of all paperwork, signed them and sent them back within the first two days.

In one of my many, many calls to my "coach", I was advised that there was no W-9 form in my file, so once again I copied the page, signed it and returned it within one day. Nothing was mentioned about the "GUARANTEE" page, but they knew that I wanted to terminate my membership and it was required to receive the refund.

I thought I did everything right. I was wrong, because I trusted them to play fair.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond in this matter, in reviewing the file there are a few things that need to be addressed. First off I would like to start off by saying, every member when getting started in our program is required to go through a recorded verification which goes over the Guarantee, Members are also instructed that when they recieve there start up package there are 3 documents to which they are to sign and return to us, one is the invoice, W-9, as well as the Guarantee. Roxy, then purchased Marketing from our company and at that time she was informed that we were missing her W-9 as well as the Guarantee. At that time Roxie informed us she would get them to us after she returned from vacation. One thing I would like to address is that we recomend that every member read over there materials when they recieve there welcome package which contains a copy of the terms and conditions. Roxy did call in and request a refund and was informed that she faced 2 issues, one she would only be eligable after one year as well as we had no signed guarantee on file. at that time Roxy used profanity and hung up only to turn right around call and apologize. Due to the fact that we felt compassionate to Roxie's situation we implemented another years worth of advertising for free. We then allowed her to sign another Guarantee to go with the next year of working the business. This year in 2008, Roxie recieved a commission check for sales generated on her website, due to the marketing we placed for her. We reconize this complaint to be resolved satisfactory.
