Your experience was good. But dog was delivered to you. You didn't see living condition of dog. Puppy mills sale to pet stores and your experience would be good there too because you are going in blind. Not knowing where came from and how they were living. I've seen it and its traumatizing for animals and the buyer. If you get pup always best see where they are living and how and where. She also breeds other dogs. Good breeder has one breed she specializes in. Not many. She has Yorkies, chihuahuas, and poms. She always also has dogs all time for sale. So plz tell me how they are all in her house as she claims. No not clean and too many dogs for that. I also noticed dogs she has as parents recently aren't even on her page. It's totally another dog. She is always around answer phone and seems nice. Hello....all con artist are! Her goal is to sell and make money. I've shopped around for years to k ow everything they say and do. They can even get fake bill of health from vet. Trust me I've seen it all. Best way shop for your pet. Go there see for yourself and have them show you parents and the other pups. Go in detail and don't be scared a good breeder won't get offended because they have nothing hide. I've even asked breeders do they have fleas and they answer well they are outside all time. That's a yes. And they think that's normal and ok. Have flea infested dog to sale to someone for money. I can go on and on just beware and go get your new pup never trust the seller.

I felt compelled to write about my experience with Tiny Paws and Claws in Houston, Texas, after reading the negative report filed about the breeder. I first read this report when I was considering the purchase of a puppy from Tiny Paws and Claws. Reading the report upset me, and I almost did not go through with the purchase of my chihuahua. That would have been one of the biggest mistakes of my life. My 1.9 pound chocolate chihuahua, Bootsie, has been such a wonderful addition to my family. Bootsie is a healthy, spunky, smart chihuahua with a very sweet disposition. From the moment I first contacted Tiny Paws and Claws, the owner, Shannon Ensminger, has always been honest and answered all of my questions. She took the time to make sure Bootsie would be a good fit for my family. She took great care in preparing her to travel to my home. Bootsie arrived in an adorable pink crate with a fleece blanket, a small toy and food. Even after she arrived, Shannon kept in touch to make sure she was adjusting well to her new surroundings. My experience with Bootsie was so great that I additionally purchased two more dogs, Nitro, a solid black 2.1 pound chihuahua and Molly, a long coat sable 1.8 pound chihuahua. I refer to my three dogs from Tiny Paws and Claws as the "Three Musketeers." They get along well and play together all the time. I have stayed in contact with Shannon over time. She has continuously provided me with advice on the best food to feed the dogs and other tips about their general care. I have referred her to two other people who have been happy with their purchases as well. When you speak to Shannon you automatically perceive that she genuinely cares about the health of her puppies and finding them the perfect home. She also appears to be very family-oriented, speaking of her own sons in a positive way. Shannon is very upbeat and honest. She is available all the time by e-mail and on her cell phone. She is quick to respond to e-mail and phone questions. I also believe Shannon is very fair with regards to pricing her dogs. She makes every effort to find the best homes for her dogs. I just wanted to file this report because I think individuals need to see that there are two sides to every story. My experience with Tiny Paws and Claws was very positive. I would not hesitate to recommend Shannon to anyone considering a nice quality chihuahua or pomeranian. Anne S. Poquoson, VA
