Sherri Worth Rip off Newport Beach California
I went in for a second opinion when unhappy with my veneers as I thought they were too large. This "dentist”, Sherri Worth, removed eight of my veneers and under no anesthesia had me sign a contract, while in pain, in the dental chair, under no anesthesia, after pulling my veneers off, exposing my dental roots to air while I was in utmost pain. Basically, I would have signed anything to get my exposed roots covered!!!
She removed my veneers, calling me "sweety, honey and darling” and berating my previous dentist. She asked me if he had hurt me, acted as if she would NEVER hurt me, meanwhile, putting me in the most pain I had ever experienced while in the dentist’s chair. Once she had my signed contract and had removed my veneers, she excused herself to go pick up her children at school and left me in the hands of her assistant.
I signed a contract for $8000 due upon leaving her office, and put it on my credit card and contacted my previous dentist for records to provide to her. He talked me into coming back to his office to address my concerns, which I did and he corrected the veneers. Meanwhile, I contacted her to let her know I was returning to the previous dentist. She returned half the money and basically charged me $4000 to remove my veneers. After one year she sent me a package of gum with her advertisement on it. I am happy to hear that this unscrupulous woman is out of business. May it stay that way.
